General Stuff

MyTracker is just out of beta, so there may still be some teeting problems!

If you do find a bug, or something wrong, then please report it so we can fix it for everyone else!

• You can rename the ./tracker/ folder to whatever you want to call it;
  myforum/bugs/, myforum/bugtracker/, myforum/support/ - it's completely up to you! Just remember to visit the ./install/ folder when you're first starting to install MyTracker!

• MyTracker is not an official MyBB plugin. We do use the same installer method, upgrade type and a few other bits and bobs, but we defintely did write it.

• Please note that we're really only messing around in this first release. A sort of "let's whack it in the code and see how it goes" sort of thing. It's not that clean or efficient, and it's certainly not pretty. It's stable though. Yeah. Stable.

• If you want to, you will need to add a link to the tracker in your forum yourself by modifying the templates. Please ask the theme author how to do this (although normally it's in the header templates somewhere). You'll also need to edit the "header_welcomeblock_member" template to change the links. For more info, please see the readme file that comes in the download!

Upgrading MyTracker

If you've been using the beta or snapshot versions of MyTracker, simply download the core package, upload the files and visit ./tracker/install/upgrade.php and follow the steps to upgrade. If you're currently using 1.0.1, simply download the Snapshot version, upload all the files (overwriting the existing ones) and upgrade by going to ./tracker/install/. You'll need to remove the "lock" file from the tracker's install folder to upgrade.

Uninstalling MyTracker

To uninstall MyTracker, remove the "lock" file from its installer, go to ./tracker/install/ and click on the "Next" button at the bottom. This will automatically create a backup of your data (in case you need it in the future!). If you don't want to reinstall MyTracker, just leave at this point!
