World Beyblade Organization
The World Beyblade Organization (WBO) is one of the largest MyBB communities. It is focused around the Beyblade spinning-top toys. It is regarded as an unofficial sanctioning body for worldwide Beyblade competitions - and one of the most popular fansites for the topic.
The site is very fan-orientated, providing the Beywiki - a Beyblade encyclopedia - as well as a platform for contests and tournaments.
The WBO also has a comprehensive worldwide ranking system for the community - called the BeyPoint System - which Xekko helped to create. Taking what was essentially a beta plugin, Xekko transformed vital areas of the BeyPoint System to match the WBO's standards and requests to produce a fully working, problem-free system. In just over 2 years, the community has grown from 1,000 members and 115,000 posts to over 50,000 members and over 750,000 posts.
We continue to provide support for the WBO for any of their community needs. We recently upgraded their forum from MyBB 1.4.15 to MyBB 1.6.4 - a massive upgrade in terms of size and complexity. It was completed quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime and, most importantly, without any functionality problems. The WBO now have an up to date forum packed full of features to help keep their site fresh and exciting for their members.
Up To Date
Making sure the community runs efficiently was up to us - which we improved by over 40%. The WBO is now up to date and is more easier to upgrade in the future.
